Discrimination will become legal in North Carolina. Shame on you! The Christian Taliban ... Welcome to the new America!
Regardless of how you feel or believe about same-sex marriage, this past Tuesday (May 8th.) North Carolina vote in favor of Amendment 1 which will forever ban same-sex marriage and civil unions. This Amendment will be written into the State’s Constitution which North Carolina will be the 29th state to do so.
Not only will this Amendment ban same-sex marriage and civil unions, it also bans all forms of domestic partnerships. Both gay and straight couples, including their children, will be dramatically affected by the passage of this Amendment and whatever rights these groups may have had will no longer be made available to them.
Using any State Constitution to discriminate against any person or groups of persons is un-American! This discriminatory LAW was supported and fueled mainly by the Religious Right, which in my opinion needs to back off and stop being the Nazi's of moral legislation's ... They're beginning to sound more and more like Nazi Islamist! And now with the passage of Amendment 1, what’s next? I have a feeling that this is just the beginning of more moral ideology to come down from their form of God! Just an observation.
