Layoffs continued today … full-timers were let go. Thus far, only one has been let go at the store I’m at. Four others at another local store. Guess I can breath a sigh of relief that I'm still gainfully employed … for now! Anyway, it’s true, the company is staffing itself with only part-timers and/or seasonals.

Honestly, it’s a good thing I was cut to part-time status … at least it’s some insurance that today I was able to go to work to earn an honest dollar.

No, I’m not as anxious as I was a few days ago, on the other hand, I’m still not ready to completely breath a sigh of relief and with baited breath hope that I will survive this round of cuts.
