Since the blame game is going on here's my take on it. If we're going to blame anybody for Trump being elected here's where we should begin: The media!

Had the media done its unbiased reporting perhaps the election would have turned out differently. Instead, the networks chose ratings and caved to not reporting the truth for fear of having their press credentials revoked. This is not how the Press is supposed to work. It is their job to find and report the facts. But instead they became Trump's mouth piece.

It's time for the media to do some soul-searching and fix the problem they are partially responsible for. Being the lap dog for any candidate running for office is unacceptable in a free democracy. Unfortunately, during this election cycle the American public was subject to sensationalism rather than honest fact finding journalism.
