Ok, i realize not everyone was a fan of Nelson Mandela, but those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones ... Republicans?!? Yes, violence isn't the best alternative. Nor was the power that was in place ... Apatite!

If I recall, at one time in America, blacks were enslaved by white task masters, were not allowed in white circles ... I'm sure you get the point. That was American Apatite, thus giving birth to the civil rights movement.

What I don't get, some ... Republican's, don't want to give credit to Mandela because he was a "terrorist", and the labels don't end there. Yet, America has a holiday for one that slaughtered Indians once landing on our shores ... Columbus. So feeling all self-righteous as we remember Mandela is in poor taste.

President Nelson Mandela changed a life-style and attitudes, just like Dr. King did. Equality is the essence of freedom. So those who want to criticize the celebration of a noble man's life, chill out, and show some respect. If only we had a Mandela running our country we might have a much different government that currently occupies capital hill.

Nelson Mandela epitomizes what a true patriot is and now this hero has gone on home.

Rest in heaven's peace!
