On April 13th., a group of us ventured out to take in the Northern Lights. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see them. Nonetheless, earlier in the evening the night sky was crisp, clear and beautiful ... dotted with an abundance of bright stars and a gorgeous quarter moon.

The highlight of the evening was all who where there, viewing a beautiful bright shooting star, John using his Sky View identifying the constellations, enjoying John's home brewed beer (YUM!), and me Kabuking (lol). Northern Lights or not, it turned out to be a great social evening.

Our next adventure will be returning to the same area to view the meteor showers on April 22nd. ... can't wait!
