Never lost his puppy hood

Always greeted me with a waging tail

Loved the outdoors and chasing squirrels

Was always at my side or feet

Comforted me when my heart was heavy

Protected me from possible harm

Understood and communicated his feelings and desires

He was my buddy, my boy, my kid

His name was Sumo

Today he feel asleep in my arms on my lap
