We all respond to life and what it hands us differently. No two persons will ever react to a situation the same way. The problem is, sometimes we expect others to respond to particular situation(s) they way we do and when they don't it becomes an issue that can easily escalate to a point of shutting down the line of advisory communication.

Yes, giving our two cents worth is a good thing. But in so doing, we must also realize that how one might handle a particular situation may not be the same way the other person should or will. Expecting as much only defeats the purpose and the giving of your two cents worth becomes an uncomfortable appreciation.

So the next time you feel compelled to give advice on how you might handle a situation, do so without expectations and the results just might be the way you wished. I'm just saying.
