Thankfully, my eye is doing much better. It still has its moments when it itches and tears, but nothing like it once did. Honestly, with glasses, I can see much clearer.

As for contacts, I can’t wear them again. Though the Corneal Ulcer will heal, due to the structure of my eyeball, wearing contacts is now out of the question. Frankly, I’m glad cause it’s a bitch putting the lenses in … glasses are much easier. Anyway, I’m glad this ordeal is over.

Now a week into having my home back, it has been peaceful and thankfully the stress level has smoothed itself out. Yeah, it upsets me that Mark didn’t have the balls to let me know about his plans to move. Yeah, he placed a financial burden on me. But, it is was it is. I will survive!

Those who are familiar with Mark says that he burns his bridges along the way. I’m just another bridge that has been burned … never to be crossed again!

All in all, I have no regrets. I gave the man an opportunity and means to get his life back on track and that is all I was required to do. On the other hand, NO!, I won’t do this again. Nonetheless, at least I paid it forward and my task is done. Now I can hold my head high and move forward.

Until Tomorrow …
