Pics Taken 6/21/11

Early one evening, while on my way to George’s house, I took a short cut which takes me behind one of our local shopping centers in Surfside. Across the road there’s this pond and waterway that extends the full length of the shopping center.

In all the months I’ve traveled this short cut I’ve never seen a Swan … plenty of ducks and gees, but no swan’s, so, I stopped to click a few pictures. What was amazing is this Swan allowed me to get close to him and was all to happy to pose for pictures.

I tell ya, it was worth the stopping! The grace and elegance, as well as its friendliness was a magical moment now captured in the pictures above.
