Lake Norgiri Was Our Family's Getaway
Between June and August, the family would pack up and vacation at Lake Norgiri. Dad would rent a cabin up a lush forest mountain overlooking the lake. My dad owned a motorboat and he taught me water skiing, slalom skiing, surfboarding, and body surfing. Spending time there was one of the happiest times of my life. I loved it there! Come the end of August it was time to head back to Tokyo to ready for school. To this day I miss this part of my life.
