9AM Jan 11-11 … Over night temp hovered around 26 degrees. As of this morning the temp sits right at 32 degrees. It did rain or should I say drizzled most of the evening till about 9PM, but with temps below the freezing mark throughout the night, this morning I awoke to a sheet of ice coating everything on my front porch. Beyond my porch, a thin coat of ice covers leaves and pin needles as far as the eye can see causing a rather beautiful sight to behold. What’s really neat is when the breeze blows through the trees you can hear a very dull clanging as the leaves as they hit against each other. As for the power lines and roads, not a problem. Needless to say, it’s still freaking cold!
