Sumo's Progress
It has been determined that my Sumo has a baseball size cancerous tumor that will kill him. The time left in his life, possibly two or three months at the most. He now has problems climbing steps, jumping on the bed, difficulty standing up and walking. But have to give it to him, he acts as if nothing is wrong and keeps on trying to make his doggy life work ... bless his heart! :-)
I tell you, preparing for the end with my Sumo … not a happy place to be! My boy has been my life for the past nine years. He has been a TRUE AND LOYAL BUDDY to me … he’s brought me through some very difficult times in the past four years. Above all, he’s brought a whole lot of joy into our lives and that makes his life in mine very special. Needless to say, it will be painful to say good-bye.
