The word “Retarded” (Mental Retardation) is no longer a politically correct word or phrase to use describing someone’s mental state of being. To a point, I agree! If you have any kind of common sense you wouldn’t call someone who’s mentally challenged, retarded … This would be unacceptable! After all, they can’t help the way their brain develops. However, those who are not “mentally challenged” and lacking any kind of common sense, with all due respect, one of two words would probably describe you best; dumb or stupid. And in this world there are those who are dumb and/or stupid. I mean dumb is dumb. But as for stupid … well, stupid is just down right stupid! Ooops! Guess this isn’t politically correct either? … LOL.

Only 34 days remain till election!

Honestly, though we enjoy the right to vote, I’ve become cynical with the voting process. Why? Cause, no matter for whom you vote, what was promised or how the candidate represented themselves prior to being elected is never the same once voted into office … once elected, they pretty much follow their own agenda and could care less about those who voted for them.

As for the campaign process, all those slogans, catchy phrases and eloquent speeches haven’t changed … election after election they pretty much mimic each other. The only thing different are the names that are inserted. And as for the media, what is being feed to us is nothing more than a neatly packaged lie.

In my opinion, the voting process is not voting for the right candidate, but voting for the lesser of two evils. Either way, you’re still voting for someone whom you really don’t care about or simply don’t trust, therefore, why vote at all!?!

As a registered voter, I’ve denounced my party affiliation … whether it be democrat or republican, neither party is worth the offices they hold. Washington is bankrupt and morally corrupt. Neither party deserves their hold on our lives. And as for the foreseeable future, I don’t see things getting any better.

Government is supposed to be of and for the people, however this is no longer the case. If we want honest change, we should vote the government void … in other words, literally clean house and start all over again.

I have chosen to not vote come November 2nd., cause no candidate represents me as a single man and one who pays more taxes than the average citizen. My voice is not heard in Washington, thus I am nothing more than a vote of convenience. And I am not going to be a convenience to any candidate and the agenda they will strive to shove down my throat. Yes, I'm a disillusioned American and my faith in our government has been trampled on.
