Sometimes, work can just be a BIG disappointment!

Being lied to and lied about in one day presented me with an interesting challenge as to how I should handle it. If I stay true to myself, I'd personally address the issue with each individual, but frankly it wouldn't matter. You can't change what was said! The lie is forever etched in stone.

What makes it even more difficult is that the lies came from two individuals whom I thought would never stoop to such level of attack. Needless to say, not only was I disappointed, but also hurt. Tell ya, “K”indergarten (nick name for where I work) sure has some dirty dippers roaming around in it.

O, as to how I’m going to handle it … “Vengeance is Mine saith the Lord”. The reward may not come about anytime soon, but one day this lie will be addressed.

Below is a response on my Facebook wall from my good friend, Ralph.

"The final paragraph about how you're going to handle it says it very well. In other words, as long as your conscience is clear, ignore the lie(s) and the liar(s).

One of the few sermons I've heard which I felt was worth listening to was by a preacher in Philadelphia years ago. The title of the sermon was: "The High Cost of Getting Even". The theme/lesson of the sermon was: an [innocent] victim who "dwells on the offense" & thinks of ways to retaliate actually suffers much more in the long run than the offender. So, as long as one knows that one's conscience is clear [it is a pure lie]---ignore it and move on."

Until Tomorrow ...

ps ... thank you, Ralph!
