Today my co-worker, Debra, and I took part in the March of Dimes annual walk held at CCU (Coastal Carolina University). Though rain was forecasted, thankfully it held off till after the walk. Probably about a thousand walkers were in attendance ... a pretty good turn out.
The walk itself was 3 miles long winding through the CCU campus … tell ya, the campus reminded me of MSU (Michigan State University, my alma motto). Had some great times there … those were the days my friend! Anyway, back to the march … LOL. This was my first visit to the campus and have to say its not only huge, but beautiful ... a good place to hold the event.
Today’s walk brings the MOD campaign to a close … thank goodness! I’m a bit tired of asking for donations at work. Nevertheless, it was fun being a part of this years campaign.
Below is a transcript of a flyer left on my windshield, as well as some pictures taken at the walk.
Enjoy!
Until Tomorrow ...
