Just an observation.

Infidelity vs. Monogamy … the line in the sand is become less defining as cheating on one’s partner is becoming a national sport.

Both men and women who engage in this destructive behavior have no conscience and no regard for their partner’s emotions and health.

In this day of HIV/AIDS including STD’s, one would think that better judgment would be exercised, but it is becoming more and more obvious that a free for all sexual encounter is better than keeping one's pants on.

“Whats love got to do with it?” In today’s society, absolutely nothing. Love has become just another four letter word … a feel good fuzzy word. So why fall in love? In today’s world one’s gotta really think twice before doing so, perhaps not even bother with it at all. On the other hand, can one find true love without all the cheating? It is possible, but the possibilities are becoming less and less.

Like I have stated before, if my partner can’t be monogamous then to the curb he will go! Ain’t got time for a cheating partner! My emotions and health are far more important than the one he may be sleeping with on the side. I will not be second best and will not sleep with sloppy seconds. Keep your pants zipped up or go to hell!

Now, if one's relationship is not going to be a monogamous one then this distinction should be agreed upon before entering into the relationship. This way, there is no dishonesty involved and no one gets hurt. And if the relationship is going to be an open one, then every effort should be taken to insure that safe sex is practiced at ALL times and at ALL cost. Infecting someone you love for a few moments of personal gratification is just plain wrong.
