Lets see, it’s been almost a year since I’ve been to the movies. I’ve asked Steven on several occasions if we could go see a show, but for some reason he just doesn’t have the time or just doesn’t want to … more than likely the later! So, I figured why keep waiting for my buddy to go. If I keep waiting I’ll be old, winkled and in a nursing home by which time it won’t matter anymore. Therefore, I figured I just have to take it upon myself to find others who have the time and wouldn’t mind going. And that’s just what I did last evening.
My friend James called and asked if I’d like to go out for dinner and a movie … his treat! Well, getting out on a Saturday night, that hasn’t happened in a LONG time, I jumped on it! We had dinner at PF Changs (my contribution; a coupon … purchase one entree get one free) at The Market Common (if you haven’t been, GO!). After dinner we went to see “Imagine That” staring Eddie Murphy, at the Grand 14. Following the movie we walked through the stores and ended the evening at Tommy Bahama’s for dessert and coffee.
Honestly, I enjoyed! It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to just get out, relax and simply enjoy an evening. Anymore, most, if not all, of my outings involve taking care of business … rush, rush, rush! So last night’s outing was perfect … thankfully it didn’t rain.
Thank you James!
Until Tomorrow ...
