Tomorrow I see my Internist about my back. I have to say that I feel 98% better. For the past two days I’ve not had to wear my back brace. Nonetheless, I still have to be careful how I sit, how long I sit, and how I stand up. Also, turning from side to side in bed causes my back to twitch with pain. Therefore, though I feel better, I do need to keep this appointment. I don’t want to cause any further damage than necessary.
Sadly, the thorn in my side, Jon, is acting a fool again. I won’t go into details cause it’s really embarrassing. Nonetheless, his innuendoes and demands are getting relentless and uglier. I don’t know how I’m going to be rid of this flee bag. But one thing is certain, he is emotionally and mentally warning me down. It amazes me as to how he thinks it’s ok to treat me the way he is. This guy has no conscience. He’s out to get what he wants and doesn’t care how he goes about it. Anyway, until I figure things out I just have to keep my wits about me and not let my guard down. Damn, I wish John was here … he’d shred the M.F. Wish I had that kind of spunk.
Well, the 2009 Harley-Davidson Rally is in full swing. Though Myrtle Beach city officials are quietly celebrating, businesses and those in the service industry (hotels/motels/restaurants) are being hit hard financially. The spring bike rally was one of Myrtle Beaches main events and dollars flowed … an estimated attendance was something like 500,000. But this year, the rally is low keyed with a lot of anti-biker restrictions. And due to the restrictions riders are either staying away in protest or those who are in attendance are boycotting the City of Myrtle Beach. It will be interesting to see what the financial impact will be once the rally ends and the figures are calculated. I’m sure there won’t be a lot of happy campers.
Until Tomorrow ...
