To my friend and confidant, Mit. To liken my relationship to a “Friend with benefits” was harsh. My relationship, though not perfect, but then again who’s is, works for me. I may not like everything about it, but when it boils down to genuine emotions, regardless of the differences, I am in love and being so allows me to look past those differences and see the heart that truly cares for me. Anyway, thank you for your concern and input.
As for my day, well, it was a roller coaster kind of day. First and foremost, my good Friend disappointed me … for months I was supposed to help him with his court case and did set aside my time in order to assist him. But for one reason or another he didn’t have the guts, or so it seemed, to tell me that he didn’t need my help.
My point ... instead of leading me on just be up front and tell me exactly what’s going on. Saying no, or thanks, but no thanks, will not hurt my feelings … I’ve got bigger fish to fry than worrying about someone changing their minds. Plus, I could have re-planed (ok, no such word, but it works) my day. Anyway, this kind of hurt my feelings and somewhat set the tone for the day.
The second bummer of the day was a posting by an anonymous individual who was really cruel in what they said. But after thinking it through I have to remember one thing … when you blog you have to deal with the feed back and sometimes those feed backs aren’t very pretty. And in this case, it was personally foul.
And last but not least, I’m missing my buddy. Thankfully, he’s been really busy so we’ve not had time to see each other. Nonetheless, I’m feeling a bit lonely and want to see him.
By the way, are we headed towards a new pandemic … Swine Flue? I’m pretty confident that this scare may only be a warning of what could be coming down the line. Anyway, wash, wash, wash your hands.
Don’t worry, I’m over feeling disappointed and like totally over some moron’s comments.
Until Tomorrow ...
