One Cloudy Day It Was!
Outdoors its been one of those, what the heck are you going to do, kind of days … wish it would either rain and get over it and clear up. I mean, really, it ain’t fall so lets get on with some sunshine and warm weather so I can lay out and catch some rays … this white boy needs a bit of color all ready!
Started my spring cleaning routine. Today I cleaned the master bathroom/bedroom, laundry room and kitchen, washed all the curtains and mini blinds, as well as windexed all the windows. Wow, what a job! Actually, this is the final step in clearing my house out of that nasty, dingy, stale cigarette smoke order. Its been six months since I’ve smoked in my house and though the air is clear, it will be clearer and cleaner. More on this later.
Got another one of Jon’s emails today. I tell you what, this man needs to get a life. I mean, he’s totally gone over the line. I have to say, he’s one conniving dude and a freaking lier at that.
Here’s Jon’s email sent to me Easter Sunday.
“Just checking to see if you're ok. After our conversation the other day, I know you were upset.”
“You know, if you haven't done so by now, you have got to get your life together by dumping your so called friend [name omitted]. I know for fact that he has been lying to you all along. He is not faithful to you. When out of town he meets other guys. And here in town he's got another guy whom he is [#*@%] . He is not good for you phil -- face up to it! A lier is and always will be a lier. I know this to be factual because he used to be a friend of mine's friend here in [location omitted], and he has told me all about the man.”
“I know what I am telling you is not what you would like to hear, but the truth is the truth. Now, I can do better than that so called man in your life. I can offer you security and comfort. You will always have someone in your life that cares about you. Someone that will be faithful to you. Someone that will take care of you in the manor you deserve. Therefore, I do not understand why you are so involved with a guy that cares nothing about you. He is a gay user. All he wants is sex and nothing more. There are thousands like him and you will never have a future with a guy like that. Listen, if he really cared about you why has he not helped you get a car so you can find a job and support yourself? Simply because he wants to keep you right where you are - alone and out of reach. I would not do that to you.”
“I know, a while back I tried to come on to you when I should not have and for that I am sorry. When you shoved me away and ordered me out of your house it crushed me and I do not take rejection easy. So I'm sorry if that incident, as well as the other day upset you to the point where you may not want me in your life. But, you are what I am looking for. You are a good looking man. You have a nice looking body. You are intelligent. And you are a faithful man. These are qualities that I like in you and someone that I would love to have in my life. Therefore, please, think this through. I can give to you everything your heart desires and you will never want for anything. So, please, at least think my offer through?”
“Hope you are having a nice easter and if you want to talk just let me know.” -jon
Come on, on Easter Sunday? Considering the day, he should have been in church, having an Easter brunch with friends or family, or something rather than emailing me. I mean, to sit there on Easter and write me a freaking, “just checking to see if you’re ok”, email … come on! After all he’s done I’m going to take this moron seriously? That would be a no dog! This guy totally sickens me. There ain’t no way I would give up my buddy or my friends for such an obnoxious, inconsiderate, heartless piece of work. Anyway, enough drama. I have since blocked his email address and phone number so hopefully this will put an end to his bullshyt. I’m over it! As instructed by my buddy and friends, the next time he comes to my home uninvited, call the police.
Well, it finally rained. Can we sing, "I'm gonna wash that man right out of my hair ..."
