Easter Eve
My buddy surprised me with a beautiful Lilly arrangement today … you can see it above. Have to say, the guy knows how to put a smile in my heart!
He’s been pretty busy this past week … with weddings and of course Easter, he’s had his hands full. And I know the man’s tired! Anyway, we hung out for a while … it was good to see him.
I was reading the Sun News on line this morning and came across the picture below. The picture was taken at one of the many crucifixion reenactments around Myrtle Beach on Good Friday.
Look at the picture closely! See anything peculiar about it?
If you did see the pictures peculiarity, then you’ll understand when I say, the message from the picture is very striking and very personal.
No, I’m not hallucinating … hahaha! I don’t see the mother Mary in the picture okay! All kidding aside, think the photographer captured a great Easter picture.
Leave your thoughts about the picture below and lets see if you captured the same message.
Well, the day started out wet, sunny, and warm … a very typical spring like day. Actually, a very Eastery kind of day. A day you’d sit on your deck with a nice glass of cold chocolate milk and catch up on few chapters of a good book kind of day. As well as, catching a few rays. Trust me, it’s a day I’ll be wishing for in mid August. As of now, it’s breezy and cooling down.
Well, folks, and on the third day He rose!
Was thinking today. If this whole thing about God and Jesus isn’t true, it will be the curliest lie mankind will have concocted, and it would be totally unforgivable. If it happened today, yeah, I would have doubts as to it’s legitimacy. Truth isn’t abundant in this day and age. Plus, today there’s a lot of religious kooks. But for a story to have survived from some 600 or more years ago, handed down during a time when individuals were killed because of His story, I can’t help but surmise that there is something worth believing in. It’s really the only actual reality worth believing in, simply because of its simplicity. Anyway, thank God for the third day!
If it wasn’t for that early Easter morning, I personally wouldn’t have a chance. And with how the world is going today, Thy kingdom come! Just think, the Easter of all Easter’s is coming. He rose and He’s coming back.
Until Tomorrow
